About Us

Welcome to Buene Pads

Buene Pads is a project created by Buene Hope Foundation that work to empower and help other women, we thought it was time to address this issues that our young sisters are facing in our country (DR CONGO, in the east region) specially in the rural area.

The availability of menstrual hygiene products appears as a problem for girls in the rural area, the majority of girls use ripped pieces clothing to protect themselves, some underwear and only few a sanitary napkin.

Founder Story

Why I Started Buene Pads

Buene Pads was born from a real problem I witnessed in many African communities: girls missing school, suffering in silence, and using unsafe materials simply because of their periods. I realized this was not only about hygiene, but also about dignity, confidence, and opportunity.

At the same time, I saw their strength, dreams, and desire to learn. Buene Pads exists to provide reusable sanitary pads, break the silence around menstrual health, and help girls grow with dignity and without shame. To me, every pad is more than a product, it is a step toward education and a better future.
