Who We Are
Buene hope foundation is an organization that work to empower and help other women, we thought it was time to address this issues that our young sisters are facing in our country (DR CONGO, in the east region) specially in the rural area.
the availability of menstrual hygiene products appears as a problem for girls in the rural area, the majority of girls use ripped pieces clothing to protect themselves, some underwear and only few a sanitary napkin.
Those crude materials are not only ineffective but also uncomfortable.
We focus on supporting girls aged 13 to 16, promoting dignity, education, and health through access to safe menstrual products.
Through the “Empowering Women with Skills and Knowledge” campaign, we aim to build a chain of empowerment: one woman teaches another.
Buene Pads are given free of charge to young girls. Your support helps us reach more communities in need.
